- Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (Mon. April 7)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
i did a bio board in 6th grade
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
to me, research is looking at all resources available, like a book, the internet, or a newspaper, to find information.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
i had to do a lot of research on Dorthea Lange for my sixth grade bio board. i found a lot of info and put it on my bio board. I learned a lot from the bio board project.
- Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:
I don't think the webbing process helped me find my topic b/c i got this topic from mrs.d's inspiration file.
3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. Topic: Who really wrote Shakespeare's plays
2. Why you chose it: this question has always boggled my mind ever since i looked in my romeo and juliet book.
3. What you already know about your topic: that they are not extremely positive that shakespeare was a real name, they think that it might have been a cover up name used by queen elizabeth. 4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity - in class (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic.
I CHANGED MY TOPIC TO SHAKESPEARE'S LIFE IN GENERAL
when was shakespeare born?
when did he die?
when is Shakespeare's b-day?
What inspired Shakespeare to become a writer?
Did anyone help Shakespeare write his plays.
5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking - for homework (due Wednesday, April 9)
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
The pre-note taking process helped me because i got to sort of "test out" my topic to see if it was the topic i should go with. I found it easy to form a "fat" question from my ideas. ----
6 - Search Log (due Thursday, April 10)
MY FAT QUESTION: Who is Shakespeare?
1. What have I learned today?
i learned that Shakespeare had 7 siblings.
2. What problems have I had?
i have had trouble doing bibliographies. everytime i find info i want to use, i end up having to make a new bibliography b/c every piece of info is on a different site so far.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will try to stick to one site. or i can just learn how to do the bibliographies quicker.
4. What will I do next?
i will just research my skinny questions. I think having to make a new bibliography is worth it because i'm finding a lot of good info. I think my final project will rock!

1. What have I learned today?
i have learned that Shakespeare wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets. isn't that cool
